The enforcement priority on a betting platform allegedly lacking anti-VPN safeguards seems questionable compared to other more serious crimes being overlooked. Coplan’s company allowed betting on Donald Trump winning the presidential election, which threatened the narrative Democrats were promoting. This, along with Coplan’s connection to Trump-supporting Peter Thiel, may have been the reason behind the FBI raid.
