Juan Campos, a 28-year-old man from Texas and member of a law enforcement family, was arrested in Florida after a woman accused him of raping her on a cruise ship. According to the accuser, Campos penetrated her with an unknown object against her will, and then attempted to force her to perform oral sex on him. The attorney, Ed Hoeg, claimed that Campos and the woman had met on the cruise and things escalated during a make-out session. When the woman asked him to stop, Campos respected her request. Campos was taken into custody upon the ship’s arrival at Port Everglades and is currently being held at Broward County Main Jail on a $20,000 bond.
