Paramount looks into allegations of Sylvester Stallone using offensive language on set of ‘Tulsa King’

Paramount is investigating claims that Sylvester Stallone used disparaging language about background actors on the set of the TV series “Tulsa King.” The studio is looking into allegations made on social media that Stallone referred to some extras as “ugly” and made inappropriate comments about bringing in young girls to be around him. While no formal complaints have been lodged against Stallone or the director of the show, human resources personnel became aware of the accusations from social media posts.

The director and executive producer of “Tulsa King,” Craig Zisk, denied that any insults were hurled on set. The allegations about Stallone’s behavior towards background actors appear to have originated on Facebook groups before being shared on Twitter by television writer Julie Benson. A casting agent for the background actors on the show allegedly resigned due to a toxic environment that made her uncomfortable, leading to the casting agency choosing to part ways with “Tulsa King.”

Producers of the show were reportedly looking to match the tone and feel of background actors from the first season in casting for the second season, which led to disagreements with the casting agent and ultimately her resignation. The investigation into the allegations is ongoing, with interviews being conducted with the cast and crew while production on Season 2 of “Tulsa King” continues as planned. Paramount is emphasizing a fair and respectful workplace environment for all involved in the production.

Both Stallone and the director are continuing to work on the show as planned, with cameras rolling on Season 2 of “Tulsa King.” Paramount is taking the matter seriously to ensure the safety and happiness of everyone on set. SAG-AFTRA, the union representing background actors, has not commented on the situation, and the Casting Society of America has stated that casting agents for background actors are not covered in its membership. The production company behind “Tulsa King,” 101 Studios, is also involved in the investigation.

The allegations against Stallone and the director have caused a stir on social media, with fans and industry insiders expressing their opinions on the matter. It remains to be seen how the investigation will impact the production of “Tulsa King” and the reputation of those involved. Paramount is committed to addressing the claims in a thorough and respectful manner to ensure a positive working environment for all. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
