A traffic accident occurred at around 14.00 in Kaza, Izmir-Ankara D300 highway at Hisarkapı Junction. The driver of a truck loaded with paper coils traveling from Izmir to Usak, Levent Kelezoğlu, maneuvered to avoid hitting a car driven by Mehmet Kadri Göral, who suddenly braked.
One of the paper coils thrown from the truck fell on the moving car. Police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification of the accident.
As a result of the accident, the Usak direction of the Izmir-Ankara D300 highway was closed to traffic for a while, but the road was reopened to traffic after the vehicles were removed from the road.
