Operation “Circle-15” carried out nationwide: 2,840 fugitives captured

The Minister of Interior Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that the operations targeting wanted individuals in all provinces, named “Circle-15”, have been ongoing for 4 days. Yerlikaya stated that 2,840 people have been captured in the operations, which are being carried out in collaboration with provincial gendarmerie commands, provincial police departments, and the Coast Guard Command.

The captured individuals with search records in all 81 provinces were apprehended during road searches, raids on homes and workplaces, and identity checks, and were handed over to the justice system. Yerlikaya congratulated the managers and participants of the operations, emphasizing that fugitive criminals will not be allowed to roam the streets. He reassured the public that their peace will be preserved, stating, “We will not allow fugitive criminals to wander around our streets and disturb the peace of our families.”

The “Circle-15” operations have been ongoing for 4 days across all 81 provinces, resulting in the capture of 2,840 fugitives. Yerlikaya emphasized the commitment of the authorities to prevent wanted individuals from evading justice and causing unrest in society.
