Only five lucky individuals can purchase Dior’s new luxurious skincare line infused with wine

Dior has recently launched their newest and most expensive skincare line, Dior L’Or de Vie, which includes wine-infused products that promise anti-aging benefits. Wine byproducts have been used in the skincare industry for years and have been found to contain high levels of bioactive molecules and polyphenols that benefit the skin, such as anti-aging, skin depigmenting, and photoprotection effects.

The key ingredient in the Dior L’Or de Vie collection comes from LVMH’s private Sauternes vineyard, Château d’Yquem, where the grapes benefit from a special fungus known as “noble rot,” giving them their unique taste. This ingredient has been incorporated into the skincare line for the first time since its creation in 2006. The collection includes five products ranging from a serum to a night cream, with prices starting at $350 for a massage tool duo and going up to $3,200 for an intensive rejuvenation treatment.

The products in the Dior L’Or de Vie collection have been reformulated with the luxury house’s “new longevity secret”: The Protein of Life, which is found in the heart of the vineyard and helps restore skin texture and a youthful appearance. The formulas are now twice as concentrated with the protein that naturally occurs in Yquem active ingredients. Dior’s “Golden Drop Longevity Technology” was used in creating these products, combining Golden Sap and Golden Ferment to help reverse the signs of aging and rejuvenate the skin.

The technology behind the Dior L’Or de Vie collection promises immediate results such as a 30% increase in collagen production, as well as improved radiance, softness, and firmness after just one application. The 2023 L’Or de Vie Le Ceremonial Vintage pack is a limited-edition serum ritual that is released annually and promises to activate, rebuild, and restore the visible youthfulness of the skin with a one-month treatment. A Prestige Edition L’Or de Vie La Creme jar will be launched later in the fall and is only available for five customers, with a price that is available upon request.

The Prestige Edition L’Or de Vie La Creme jar is made of hand-blown Murano glass in collaboration with French artist Aristide Najean, paying tribute to the Golden Grape of Yquem. The glass sculpture is individually created in Najean’s Murano studio, La Cathédrale, with a curved glass base and glass bunch of Yquem Golden Grapes that look “freshly picked,” with hints of 24-carat gold shining through. This special jar is designed for exclusivity and luxury, appealing to those who seek high-end skincare products with unique and limited-edition designs.
