Olivia Attwood risked getting a parking ticket in Manchester on Thursday as she enjoyed lunch at The Ivy restaurant with a friend. She left her expensive black G-Wagon Mercedes parked on the side of the road with double yellow lines. Despite the parking issue, she looked chic in black jeans and a grey coat, accessorizing with a pale blue Kelly 28 Box Brique Birkin bag worth £15,000. Adding height to her frame, she wore tall brown leather boots. Olivia, a host of Bad Boyfriends, revealed that she struggles to feel sorry for herself or others in the influencing industry due to their privileged lives and the ability to leave the job if they are unhappy.

Olivia rose to fame after her appearance on Love Island in 2017, where she placed third with her ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes. She has since taken on ITV presenting roles and hosts a successful podcast called So Wrong it’s Right. Despite the negative aspects of every job, Olivia finds it hard to sympathize with those in the industry because of the extraordinary lives they lead. She believes that having a platform and the opportunity for people to engage with you is a privilege. Olivia shared her perspective on job dissatisfaction and the ability to leave if unhappy, emphasizing the need to recognize the negatives of any job while acknowledging the privileges that come with it.

While many former Love Island contestants have struggled with overnight fame, Olivia found the experience of rising to fame after the show ‘freeing’. She had previously worked as a Grid Girl for Monster energy drink companies, where she felt the pressure to conform to a specific look and size. Coming out of Love Island with a significant increase in followers, Olivia found the transition surreal but exciting. She embraced the opportunity to voice her thoughts and opinions as an individual, finding the experience of being heard by others exhilarating.

After being diagnosed with ADHD in her early twenties, Olivia learned to navigate fame by understanding what triggered her symptoms. This self-awareness helped her adapt to her newfound celebrity status and manage the challenges that came with it. Despite the difficulties surrounding relationships and personal struggles, Olivia found fame to be a liberating experience, allowing her to express herself authentically. She revealed that the hardest part of coming out of the show was dealing with relationships and the aftermath of the public attention. Olivia’s positive outlook on her rise to fame reflects her resilience and ability to adapt to new situations with confidence and grace.

Olivia recently hosted her own ITV reality show, Bad Boyfriends, less than six years after competing on Love Island. Unlike many others who struggled with the pressures of sudden fame, Olivia found the experience of being in the spotlight to be empowering and exciting. She viewed her newfound platform as a way to share her voice and connect with a wider audience. Despite the challenges that fame brought, Olivia embraced the opportunity to step into the limelight and express herself authentically. Through her experiences, she learned to navigate the highs and lows of celebrity life with grace and self-awareness, setting an example of resilience and determination for others in the industry.
