Breakfast TV favorites Natalie Barr and Matt ‘Shirvo’ Shirvington, along with other Channel Seven stars, participated in the Good Friday Appeal in Melbourne. The event raised $23,368,724 for the Royal Children’s Hospital. The Sunrise hosts were joined by their team members, inlcuding Katie Brown, Mark Beretta, and Edwina Bartholomew. Home and Away stars Jessica Redmayne and Emily Weir were also present, each showcasing their individual styles at the telethon.

Other Home and Away co-stars James Stewart, Ada Nicodemou, and Matt Evans were in attendance as well. James opted for a tie-less cream suit, while Ada looked glamorous in a strapless black dress. Matt kept it casual in cargo pants and a buttoned shirt. Sports casters Abbey Holmes and Matthew Richardson, along with presenter Abbey Gelmi, were also present at the event, posing on the red carpet with style and grace.

Former footy player Matt dressed smartly, while Zoe Ventoura and other stars lent their support to the cause. Chicago The Musical star Zoe Ventoura looked chic in a cream suit, while performers like Mark Seymour and daughter Eva, Conrad Sewell, Kate Miller-Heidke, and Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright entertained the audience. The telecast, which was broadcast on Channel Seven and nationally on 7plus, helped raise a record-breaking amount for the hospital.

Lewis Martin, Managing Director Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport, expressed gratitude for the generous donations and support from Victorians. He mentioned how honored Seven was to broadcast the event for 67 years, thanking all the special guests, volunteers, and staff who contributed to the success of the telethon. Partners at The Royal Children’s Hospital and the Herald Sun were also acknowledged for their role in making the event a tremendous success.

In summary, the Good Friday Appeal in Melbourne brought together a host of Channel Seven stars, Home and Away actors, and other celebrities to raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital. The event was a success, with a record-breaking amount collected for the worthy cause. The support from the community, special guests, and partners was instrumental in making the telethon a memorable and impactful event, showcasing the generosity and compassion of all involved.
