Minister Yerlikaya: 14 suspects who are members of the Dalton criminal organization were captured

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that 14 suspects were captured in the “Mahzen-37” operations in the districts of Kağıthane, Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü, Başakşehir, Bahçelievler, Küçükçekmece, and Beşiktaş in Istanbul. Minister Yerlikaya stated that with the support and prayers of the people, they will eradicate organized crime groups and they will not be able to roam the streets freely. He declared that they will capture each of them and deliver them to justice.

The operations were conducted by the Istanbul Provincial Security Directorate Organized Crime Branch Directorate under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security and Intelligence Directorate. The suspects captured in the operations were involved in various criminal activities such as shootings at businesses, throwing hand grenades, and attempts at murder in different districts of Istanbul. The operations also revealed instances of businesses being shot at, attempted murder, and kidnapping in multiple districts.

As a result of the operations, law enforcement officials were able to seize one AK-47 assault rifle, three automatic pistols, two stolen motorcycles, and a large number of ballistic vests and ski masks. The captured weapons and equipment indicated the extent of the criminal activities carried out by the suspects. The authorities have intensified their efforts to crack down on organized crime and ensure the safety and security of the citizens.

The “Mahzen-37” operations in multiple districts of Istanbul have led to significant progress in dismantling criminal activities and apprehending suspects involved in various offenses. The Interior Ministry, under the leadership of Minister Ali Yerlikaya, is committed to eradicating organized crime groups and ensuring that they face justice. The operations have also highlighted the importance of community support and cooperation in combating crime and maintaining public safety.
