MedBridge, a health technology company based in Seattle, has recently acquired Rehab Boost, a startup from Miami, Florida that specializes in developing motion capture technology for physical rehabilitation programs. Founded in 2020, Rehab Boost’s technology provides real-time analysis of body movement to give feedback for patients undergoing rehabilitation. The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed, but MedBridge will be rebranding Rehab Boost as MedBridge Motion Capture.

The founder of Rehab Boost, Paul Jaure, will be joining MedBridge as the head of AI, bringing his expertise in the field to the company. Garth Savidge, the chief commercial officer at Rehab Boost, will also be taking on a new role as the director of commercial operations for MedBridge. With the addition of Rehab Boost’s technology and team members, MedBridge aims to enhance their offerings for healthcare professionals in the industry.

Originally launched in 2009, MedBridge offers a range of digital products specifically designed for healthcare professionals. Led by CEO Donovan Campbell, a former executive at Accolade, the company has been on a mission to provide innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes and streamline the healthcare process. The acquisition of Rehab Boost and the rebranding of their technology as MedBridge Motion Capture will further strengthen MedBridge’s position in the market.

The integration of Rehab Boost’s motion capture technology into MedBridge’s existing platform will allow healthcare professionals to access advanced tools for physical rehabilitation programs. By leveraging real-time analysis of body movement, providers can offer more personalized and effective treatment plans for their patients. This acquisition represents MedBridge’s commitment to staying at the forefront of health technology and continuously evolving to meet the needs of the healthcare industry.

As MedBridge continues to expand its digital offerings, the addition of motion capture technology from Rehab Boost will help them better serve their customers in the physical rehabilitation space. With the expertise of Paul Jaure and Garth Savidge on board, MedBridge is well-positioned to further enhance their AI capabilities and commercial operations. This acquisition is a strategic move for MedBridge as they look to differentiate themselves in a competitive market and provide cutting-edge solutions for healthcare professionals.

Overall, the acquisition of Rehab Boost by MedBridge represents a significant step forward for both companies in the health technology sector. By combining forces, they will be able to leverage their respective strengths to drive innovation and create more value for their customers. With the rebranding of Rehab Boost as MedBridge Motion Capture and the integration of their technology into MedBridge’s platform, the company is poised for continued growth and success in the healthcare industry.
