Earlier in the year, Senior Airman Aaron Bushnell, a member of the U.S. Air Force, also set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in protest against Israel’s campaign in Gaza. In a recorded video, Bushnell declared that he would no longer be complicit in genocide.
