Search operations continue for university student Rojin Kabaiş, who has been missing since Friday in Van.
The Van Lake Group Command of the Coast Guard, the Harbor Master’s Office with Ship Crews and Navigation Services Bureau, the Submarine Group Command teams, AFAD, and the Metropolitan Municipality divers, as well as the Mounted Police Group Command teams, continue their efforts to find the missing student.
The search operation for the young girl continues with the help of ‘frogmen’, underwater imaging devices, and boats searching both the depths of the lake and coastal areas. Mounted police officers are also patrolling along the shore to look for any trace of the missing girl.
Rojin Kabaiş, a student in the Child Development Department at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, disappeared on the evening of September 27. Rojin told her friends that she was going to the beach to collect pebbles. However, she was not heard from again.
