‘Kill The Justice League’ Episode 2 Delayed with No Release Date Announced

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League players are eagerly awaiting the release of episode 2 of the game’s first season, which has yet to receive a confirmed release date. Rocksteady has been teasing new content and upcoming changes for the episode, including new boss fights, enemies, and weapons, as well as significant balance, economy, and endgame changes. However, despite these updates, players are still left in the dark about when they can expect the new content to drop.

With Episode 1 having launched on March 28, fans were expecting Episode 2 to arrive six weeks later, around May 9. However, as of May 13, there is still no official announcement regarding the release date of the next episode. This lack of communication has left players frustrated and questioning when they will be able to experience the new additions to the game.

The delay in releasing Episode 2 comes at a time when Rocksteady is facing larger-scale consequences, with reports stating that the game’s poor performance has contributed to significant losses for WB Discovery. Despite this, the company is committed to continuing the live aspects of the game for the foreseeable future, with plans for at least a year of content already mapped out. However, further drop-offs in player engagement could throw a wrench in these plans.

One area where Rocksteady could potentially drive revenue is through the sale of skins in the game’s store. However, the company has largely ignored this revenue stream, releasing only a few skins and placing others behind lengthy battle pass progression walls. This lack of focus on cosmetics could hinder the game’s ability to generate income and sustain long-term player interest.

As a fan of Suicide Squad, the author is willing to give the game more time to improve and add content. However, the lack of transparency and delays in releasing Episode 2 are causing concern among the community. Without clear communication from Rocksteady about the future of the game and its upcoming content, players are left uncertain about the game’s longevity and potential for success.
