Kari Lake recommends supporters ‘prepare for 2024 by carrying a Glock’

Kari Lake, a GOP Senate hopeful in Arizona, recently spoke to supporters in Lake Havasu City and urged them to be prepared for the intensity of the 2024 campaign. She encouraged them to “strap on a Glock” and be ready for the challenges ahead, as she positioned herself as a candidate the Washington “swamp” does not want in office. Lake emphasized her willingness to stand up to the establishment and warned of a fierce battle ahead in the next six months. She also reiterated her commitment to defending Second Amendment rights and freedom of speech in the face of perceived threats.

During her speech, Lake highlighted the need for action and readiness among her supporters, particularly military and law enforcement veterans. She suggested that the next six months leading up to the election would be difficult and critical in the fight to save the country. While Lake did not explicitly mention political violence, one of her supporters interpreted her remarks as a warning of potential disruptions, including the possibility of another civil war. This sentiment was echoed by others at the event, who expressed concerns about the political climate and perceived attacks on the MAGA movement.

Lake’s comments were made in Mohave County, a stronghold for former President Donald Trump, where she hopes to garner even more support in the upcoming election. She has been vocal in her rejection of the 2020 election results and continues to question the integrity of the electoral process in Arizona, particularly in Maricopa County. Despite legal challenges and reviews that have not found evidence of widespread fraud or malfeasance, Lake remains steadfast in her belief that there were irregularities that affected the outcome of past elections.

The Senate hopeful is leaning on her strong base of supporters in Mohave County to lead the way in overcoming any potential obstacles in future elections. She believes that if the county shows up in full force, it will be more challenging for anyone to manipulate or cheat their way to victory in other parts of the state. Lake’s rhetoric has been met with both fervent support and criticism, with some questioning the implications of her statements and concerns about the polarization and divisiveness in political discourse.

Despite facing legal challenges and controversies surrounding her defamation suit with Maricopa County recorder Stephen Richer, Lake remains undeterred in her quest for political office. She continues to position herself as a candidate who is willing to take on the establishment and fight for the values and principles she believes in. As the 2024 campaign heats up, Lake’s supporters are rallying behind her, ready to engage in what they see as a critical battle for the future of the country. The political landscape in Arizona and across the country remains contentious, with candidates like Lake appealing to their base and seeking to make a lasting impact on the political arena.
