The 12th HBF Run for a Reason took place in Perth, with a record-breaking 37,000 registrations. Participants had the option to run, walk, or wheel through three different courses, with the event raising over $1.2 million for more than 280 charities. Donations can still be made until the end of June, with Cancer Council WA currently sitting at the top of the donation leader board. The fastest times for each course were recorded as 1:09 for the Brooks Half Marathon, 37:02 for the Specsavers 12km, and 10:47 for the CommBank 4km.

Over 800 volunteers dedicated their time to running the event, with more than a tonne of discarded clothing donated to Vinnies. The event saw the streets of Perth filled with teal as participants took part in the various courses.
