Hundreds of ballet dancers attempt to break Guinness World Record by collectively going on tippy toes at NYC’s Plaza Hotel

Teenage ballet dancers from around the world gathered at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan to attempt to set a new world record for the most ballet dancers en pointe simultaneously. A total of 353 dancers participated in the event, organized by Youth America Grand Prix, surpassing the previous record of 306 dancers. Participants had to hold the difficult pose for over a minute to prove their pointe and secure their place in history.

Young dancers from over 20 states in the US, as well as countries like Japan, China, Germany, and Portugal, all gathered to take part in the record-setting event.
