A fire broke out in a three-story building on Ali Kale Street in Çilhane Mahallesi, where Syrian national Zehra Elcasim and her four children lived on the first floor for reasons that have not yet been determined. Upon receiving a report from the bystanders, ambulances, firefighters, and police were dispatched to the scene. The fire, which was extinguished by the firefighters, caused damage to the apartment.

Three-year-old Halit Elcasim, who was affected by the smoke, was taken to Bafra State Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and authorities are working to determine what may have sparked the blaze. The incident highlights the importance of fire safety and prevention measures in residential buildings, especially in densely populated areas where the risk of fire-related incidents is higher.

Neighbors expressed their shock and concern over the fire, stating that they did not expect such an incident to occur in their community. They praised the swift response of the emergency services, which helped prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the building. The residents of the building have been temporarily displaced as a result of the fire, and efforts are being made to provide them with temporary accommodation and support during this difficult time.

Local authorities have urged residents to take precautions and follow fire safety guidelines to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. They have also offered assistance to the Elcasim family, who lost their home and belongings in the fire. The community has come together to support the family, offering donations and assistance to help them rebuild their lives after this tragic event.

As investigations into the cause of the fire continue, residents are reminded to be vigilant and proactive in ensuring the safety of their homes and families. Fire safety awareness campaigns and training sessions may be organized in the community to educate residents on how to prevent fires and respond effectively in case of emergencies. By working together and staying informed, residents can help reduce the risk of fire-related incidents and protect their communities from such disasters in the future.
