Heavy rain in the city caused traffic to come to a standstill after iftar, with water accumulation in the streets. On Talatpaşa Boulevard, a power pole fell down, leading to the closure of the road to traffic. Firefighters and electricity company officials were dispatched to the area in response to reports from locals.

With the efforts of the teams to remove the fallen pole that caused minor damage to a minibus and a car, traffic on the boulevard returned to normal. Citizens caught unprepared in the rain waited for the downpour to stop in indoor areas. The city administration and district municipalities’ teams worked to drain the accumulated water on the roads.

The heavy rain that started after iftar disrupted traffic and caused water accumulation on the streets, leading to a power pole falling down on Talatpaşa Boulevard. This incident prompted a response from firefighters and electricity company officials who were able to remove the fallen pole that had caused minor damage to a minibus and a car, restoring traffic flow on the boulevard.

Many citizens found themselves unprepared for the sudden downpour and sought shelter in indoor areas while waiting for the rain to stop. The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and district municipalities’ teams were deployed to work on draining the water that had accumulated on the streets.
