Guide to Watching Purdue vs. NC State and UConn vs. Alabama in the 2024 Final Four without Cable

The Final Four of the NCAA March Madness tournament is set, with No. 1 UConn facing No. 4 Alabama in the second game on Saturday. The first game features the Cinderella team, No. 11 NC State, facing No. 1 Purdue. Both games will be broadcast on TBS, and you can watch them with the Max streaming service for $10 a month. The tournament has been exciting so far, with the Wolfpack becoming the seventh team to reach the Final Four as a double-digit seed. The National Championship game will take place on Monday, so be sure to catch all the action with Max.

To watch March Madness, including the Final Four and championship game, you only need TBS, which you can access with a cable subscription or a live TV streaming service. The most affordable option is to sign up for a month of Max for $10, where you can watch all three remaining games of the tournament. Max offers an ad-supported plan for $10 per month, and you can save over 40% with annual plans for a limited time. While live sports on Max will require an additional B/R Sports add-on in the future, you can enjoy this year’s March Madness games without it.

Max does not offer a free trial, but it is currently offering a 40% discount for the first year with its annual plan option. For the ad-supported version, this would amount to $70 for the year, or $5.83 per month. You can watch March Madness on a variety of devices, including iPhones, Android phones, iPads, Android tablets, Amazon Fire tablets, Roku, Apple TV, Android TV/Google TV, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, and Vizio smart TVs, Xbox, and PlayStation game consoles. Check the full list of supported devices on the Max streaming service for more information.

The Final Four games will take place on Saturday, with No. 11 NC State facing No. 1 Purdue at 6:09 p.m. and No. 4 Alabama taking on No. 1 UConn at 8:49 p.m., both on TBS. The NCAA championship game is scheduled for Monday, April 8. After Max, Sling TV at $40 per month is the next cheapest option for watching the Final Four and National Championship game on TBS. Sling TV’s Blue plan includes TBS, which is good for all three remaining games of the tournament.

If you’re looking to stream March Madness for free, you can visit the NCAA’s March Madness Live site or use its app to watch games for free. The March Madness Live app is available on iOS and Android devices, Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, and Xbox, and it supports AirPlay and Chromecast. Without proving you’re a pay TV subscriber, you get only a three-hour preview, after which you’ll need to log in to continue watching. All the live TV streaming services mentioned offer free trials, flexible cancellation policies, and require a stable internet connection.
