Governor Yavuz of Kocaeli handed over his seat to a 4th grade student.

Turkey Grand National Assembly 4th Grade student Örden, who is representing the governorship, thanked Governor Yavuz for hosting him in his office, according to a statement from the governorship. Örden celebrated April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and thanked Mustafa Kemal Atatürk for dedicating this holiday to all children around the world.

Governor Seddar Yavuz expressed his gratitude and remembrance to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades. Yavuz emphasized that Turkey has strengthened with the Republic regime, stating, “We are making rapid and confident strides towards becoming a more prosperous society. Our journey in science, industry, and technology, especially in the defense industry, continues to develop at a dizzying pace. We are determined to reach and surpass the contemporary level of civilization, which was a great ideal and dream of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and we truly believe that you, our children, will raise this flag even higher. As you know, our Great Leader made a historic move by dedicating National Sovereignty and Children’s Day to all children around the world, demonstrating his foresight once again. We believe in you and trust you. On this occasion, I once again congratulate you on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.”

During the visit, Governor Yavuz handed over his office chair symbolically to Örden and gave him various gifts, then they took a photo together to commemorate the day. In conclusion, Örden thanked the governor for the warm reception and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit the governor’s office on such a special day. The young student was impressed by the governor’s kind demeanor and the significance of the occasion.
