Google CEO has a long road ahead after firing anti-Israel employees

Google recently faced a situation where radical leftist employees occupied its offices in New York and Sunnyvale in an anti-Israel, pro-terrorist sit-in. The tech giant ultimately called the police and had these employees arrested, showing a clear stance against such behavior. However, this incident is not enough to suggest that Google is moving away from its woke policies. The company still has many employees who are politically malignant and actively subvert businesses that do not align with the Woke religion. CEO Sundar Pichai must do more to address the culture within Google to truly make a change.

There have been instances of bias and discrimination within Google, such as the production of historically inaccurate pictures through the Gemini AI and the firing of an employee for expressing conservative opinions. Google’s discrimination is not always blatant, with much of the bias manifesting in discrete discrimination against non-woke or conservative voices. Pichai needs to address algorithmic bias within the company that black holes content not woke, especially in news and media. Google’s search results often favor liberal outlets over conservative ones, indicating a clear bias in its algorithms.

In addition to search result bias, Google has also demonstrated bias in other products such as Google Docs. The platform introduced a feature that suggests alternative words for terms considered non-inclusive, like substituting “police officer” for “policeman.” This type of censorship is considered pointless and unhelpful. Google also owns YouTube, where videos that do not conform to the woke narrative are frequently removed or deplatformed. This suppression extends to skepticism about COVID vaccines or the 2020 election results.

Even though Google took action by firing some subversive woke employees, the company still has a long way to go in terms of changing its culture and addressing bias issues. The road ahead for Google may be challenging, but it is essential for Pichai to be committed to changing the culture within the company if they truly intend to make a difference. While this incident may be a step in the right direction, it is only the beginning of a larger effort to create a more inclusive and unbiased environment at Google. William A. Jacobson and Kemberlee Kaye emphasize the importance of addressing Google’s culture to truly make a difference in combating bias within the company.
