On April 14, the Auto Theft Bureau of the Security Department Directorate arrested S.B. and T.G. in Konak district in connection with the theft of a car. After processing the suspects, they were taken to the courthouse. The suspects were released by the judge under judicial control.
Meanwhile, efforts to capture the main suspect U.H.Y. continued. It was discovered that the suspect had stolen another car in Buca district on April 17.
The Security Department Auto Theft and Buca district teams found the stolen car in Konak Çukur Mahallesi and returned it to its owner.
During a pursuit, the officers were able to apprehend the suspect U.H.Y. in an abandoned building.
Further investigation revealed that U.H.Y. was wanted for a total of 94 years, 2 months, and 25 days in prison for 7 different criminal cases.
