Among the victims was Tiger Bech, a former All-Ivy Princeton football player who was described as an “amazing kid” by his mother. Bech, 28, had recently been working as a junior bonds trader in cybersecurity at Seaport Global and had a passion for fishing and hunting. St. Thomas More Catholic High School in Lafayette, Louisiana, confirmed that he had graduated in 2015 and asked for prayers for his family. Bech’s brother expressed love and tribute to him on social media, stating that his brother inspired him every day.
Nikyra Cheyenne Dedeaux, an aspiring nurse, also lost her life during the attack. Her mother, Melissa Dedeaux, shared the heartbreaking news on social media and confirmed to CBS News. Dedeaux was scheduled to begin a nursing program at Blue Cliff College and was described as popular and always surrounded by friends. Another victim, Reggie Hunter, a store manager and father from Baton Rouge, was remembered as a loving dad who was always laughing and joking. His cousin, Shirell Robinson Jackson, expressed shock and grief over his tragic death.
Nicole Perez, a mother to a 4-year-old son, was also among the victims of the New Orleans attack. Perez, who worked at Kimmy’s Deli in Metairie, was remembered by her friend and boss as a dedicated worker, smart, happy, and a “good-hearted person.” As more information becomes available, details about the remaining victims will be shared.
