In Çorlu district, a truck involved in an armed assault fled to Çerkezköy district after receiving a tip-off. Police officers started to follow the vehicle.
The driver of the truck, who did not obey the police’s warning to stop, crashed into a tree at the Altıyol Intersection.
As a result of the collision, 2 police officers in the police vehicle and 5 people in the truck were injured.
The injured individuals were taken to local hospitals by medical teams who arrived at the scene after the report.
After receiving medical treatment at the hospital, the 5 individuals in the truck were taken into custody.
The two police officers injured in the accident are still receiving medical treatment.
