Despite the guilty verdict against Trump, the majority of voters in Georgia, 54%, believe that it will have no impact on their vote. In fact, 23% said it would make them more likely to vote for the former president. Only 22% of respondents, primarily Democrats, stated that the verdict would make them less likely to support Trump. Both independents (18%) and Republicans (5%) also indicated that the guilty verdict did not deter their support for Trump. In regards to Trump’s election interference case in Fulton County, the majority of voters, 54%, believe that Trump did nothing illegal.
