Producer Alan Hamel and the late Suzanne Somers had a seemingly perfect marriage, despite initially having their ups and downs. They were always able to overcome their fights and return to their passionate love for one another. They made a pact early on in their relationship to never break up, and they stayed true to that commitment throughout their 46 years of marriage. The couple always went to sleep holding hands and would wake up in the morning, staring at each other’s faces with love.

Suzanne Somers passed away a year ago after battling cancer for several years. She fought until her last breath to stay alive and died while holding her husband’s hand. The TV legend died just one day before her 77th birthday. Despite her passing, Alan Hamel still feels her presence and believes that she visits him in the form of a hummingbird. Their love continues to transcend even death as he feels her spirit is with him.

The couple first met in 1969 when Alan hosted the game show “The Anniversary Game” and Suzanne was a prize model. Over the decades, their love only grew stronger, and they continued to enjoy dating experiences together. They would spend evenings at intimate French restaurants, such as Le Vallauris in Palm Springs, where they would order great wine and spend time gazing at each other in admiration. Suzanne would always dress beautifully for their dates, and they cherished these special moments together.

Alan reflected on Suzanne’s wisdom, describing her as incredibly wise and street savvy for her years. She believed in surrendering to one another, where they would take turns doing what the other wanted to do. This mutual respect and understanding strengthened their bond and allowed them to navigate any challenges they faced as a couple. Despite their differences, they always found a way to compromise and prioritize each other’s happiness.

Despite their fights early in their relationship, Alan and Suzanne had a deep connection and love for each other that endured throughout their marriage. They shared a special bond that was evident in their nightly routines and shared experiences. Suzanne’s passing was a difficult and emotional time for Alan, but he finds comfort in believing that she still visits him in spirit. Their love story continues to inspire others and serves as a reminder of the enduring power of love.

In the wake of Suzanne Somers’ passing, Alan Hamel reminisces about their life together and the love they shared over the years. Their relationship was filled with passion, understanding, and mutual respect. As he continues to feel her presence in his life, Alan’s memories of their time together bring him comfort and solace. Their love story serves as a testament to the fact that true love never fades with time and that the connection between soulmates can transcend even death.
