Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Nadir Küpeli announced that the city’s exports in October 2023 increased by 14.5% from $129 million to $147 million. He attributed this success to the dedicated work of industrialists, investments in high technology, and the emphasis on value-added production. Küpeli stated that their goal is to strengthen the industry with growth strategies for 2025 and 2030 and to make the city a hub for Turkey’s exports. He commended the industrialists and all employees for their significant contributions to this achievement.

Küpeli emphasized that Eskişehir’s success in exports demonstrated the dynamism of the industry and its commitment to value-added production. He stated that the city’s competitiveness in the global market is increasing day by day, and they are setting new export records. With the continuous contribution of industrials who continue production without interruption, the country is making steady progress towards new export targets. Küpeli highlighted the need for innovative and sustainable production methods for industrialists to reach their export goals.

He projected that by the end of the year, Eskişehir’s exports would surpass $4.5 billion. Last year, the city’s export figure reached $4.3 billion. Küpeli mentioned that more than $2.2 billion of the annual exports were realized by companies in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone. The annual export value of the aviation industry has reached $436 million, with over 60 companies in the sector and a turnover of $1 billion. Eskişehir ranks third in the country in defense and aviation products exports after Ankara and Istanbul, with a 20% share. The exports of the white goods industry have exceeded $1 billion.

Eskişehir’s total export includes a 15% share of high-tech products. They aim to increase the share of high-tech products in exports to 20% by 2030. The minimum export target for Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone in 2030 is $5 billion. To achieve this goal, they will continue to focus on continuous R&D investments and training programs, as well as develop projects to support industrialists. Küpeli reiterated their commitment to supporting industrialists in reaching their export goals through various initiatives. The city’s potential in high-tech industries positions it as a key player in Turkey’s export landscape.
