Police officers from the Traffic Inspection Branch of the Provincial Police Department launched an investigation based on a social media post stating, “They are disturbing shopkeepers by drifting”. The police teams were able to identify the car and driver who were involved in drifting in the city center.
After identifying the driver, the police officers imposed a fine of 32,233 lira on the driver for endangering traffic safety and also initiated legal proceedings against him. It was also discovered that the driver was a learner driver whose license was permanently revoked, and the vehicle was impounded from traffic.
