Local authorities in Çorum-Ortaköy were alerted to the discovery of a dead animal on the side of the road at the Danişin location. Upon receiving the report, Ortaköy Municipality teams were dispatched to the area to investigate.
The teams determined that the animal was a lynx after conducting an examination. The dead lynx was removed from the location.
It is believed that the lynx was killed as a result of being hit by a vehicle on the road.
