Three-year-old Tuna Miçooğulları, who was attending a private kindergarten in Deniz Mahallesi, fell into an irrigation canal located next to the kindergarten.
Witnesses saw Tuna struggling in the water and managed to pull him out.
Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
Medical teams determined that Miçooğulları had lost his life.
