Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee acknowledged a significant appearance of impropriety in the prosecution team but did not find an actual conflict of interest in the case due to their personal relationship. McAfee ruled that Willis should step aside from the case or fire Wade, who resigned last month. Willis has defended herself by stating that she is the only district attorney with the courage to prosecute Trump and has claimed that when a case lands in her jurisdiction, she will prosecute it.
Eric Trump warned that Willis and her counterpart, Bragg, want to torture his father but stated that no one is believing these claims.
