During the removal of the rubble of a demolished building on GMK Boulevard, a retaining wall collapsed due to the intervention of the excavator being used.
As it was reported that the worker Rasim Yılmaz was trapped under the debris during the collapse, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department K9 search and rescue, AFAD search and rescue, and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene.
The rescue teams started working to save Yılmaz, who was trapped under the debris, and after approximately 2 hours of work, they reached the lifeless body of the worker.
