Brisbane’s global rankings suffer from low house prices and sluggish internet speeds.

The new Global Cities Index has ranked Brisbane third in Australia for economics, human capital, and quality of life. Melbourne was ranked 9th, Sydney 16th, Perth 23rd, and Brisbane 27th out of 1000 cities worldwide.
