Amy Robach has opened up about the backlash she received for her affair with T.J. Holmes, revealing that she now gives “zero f–ks” about other people’s opinions. During a recent episode of the “Amy & T.J.” podcast, Robach discussed the difficulties she faced during the fallout of the scandal and how she has come to terms with it. She expressed admiration for guest Rachel Platten, whose music has helped her through adversity, with her new song “Mercy” becoming Robach’s anthem.

The former “GMA3” host spoke about embracing the “zero f–ks” mentality in her life as a way to overcome hardships. She highlighted the importance of reaching a point where you can let go of the opinions of others and focus on what truly matters. Holmes, her partner in the podcast, also shared his thoughts on moving on from the past, describing the journey as “weird” but ultimately freeing. Despite the controversy surrounding their relationship, they have both found a sense of peace and acceptance.

When news of the affair between Robach and Holmes broke, sources revealed they had been dating for two months. At the time, Holmes was still married to Marilee Fiebig, while Robach was in the process of finalizing her divorce from Andrew Shue. Although the former TV anchors have denied that their relationship was an affair, Holmes did not file for divorce from Fiebig until later. Additionally, it was reported that Robach’s ex-husband and Holmes’ ex-wife had moved on with each other, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.

Robach reflected on hitting rock bottom and coming through the other side when things were at their worst. She acknowledged that her journey has been challenging but also transformative, leading her to a place where the opinions of others no longer hold sway over her. Platten’s music served as a source of inspiration throughout this process, especially her songs like “Fight Song” and “Mercy.” Robach’s ability to channel the themes of resilience and self-acceptance in Platten’s music has helped her navigate the difficult moments in her life.

Holmes and Robach both shared their perspectives on finding peace and acceptance after facing criticism and judgment. Despite the challenges they have faced, they have learned to prioritize their own well-being and happiness above external opinions. By embracing a “zero f–ks” mentality, they have been able to move past the difficulties of the past and focus on building a positive future together. Their journey serves as a reminder of the importance of resilience, self-compassion, and the ability to overcome adversity. Through their story, they inspire others to find their own path to healing and self-acceptance.
