After 54 holes of the 88th Masters Tournament, Scottie Scheffler leads the pack by one stroke, with a chance to win his second green jacket in three years. Despite a shaky start on the back nine, Scheffler managed to rally and share the lead with Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Bryson DeChambeau, and Nicolai Højgaard. However, with a tough final round ahead and several skilled golfers within striking distance, including former major champions Morikawa and DeChambeau, Scheffler will need to stay focused to secure the win.

It has been an emotional journey for Scheffler, with the added pressure of his wife Meredith being pregnant and due at the end of the month. Despite not being able to travel to watch her husband compete in the Masters, Meredith’s health and well-being are Scheffler’s top priority, with him ready to leave the tournament at a moment’s notice if she goes into labor. Scheffler has acknowledged that the birth of their first child would take precedence over any golfing achievements, showing his dedication to his family above all else.

The Masters Tournament has a history of dramatic comebacks, with several notable examples of players overcoming large deficits on the final day to secure victory. Gary Player, Nick Faldo, and Tiger Woods are among the past champions who staged impressive comeback victories at Augusta National. The unpredictability of the Masters is a testament to the challenging nature of the course and the pressure that comes with competing in a major championship. As Scheffler prepares for the final round, he will need to draw on his experience and composure to hold off the competition and emerge victorious.

With four players within four strokes of the lead, including two former major champions, the final round of the Masters promises to be a thrilling battle for the green jacket. Morikawa, who is just one stroke back, is eyeing his first Masters title and third major championship. DeChambeau, who sits four strokes behind the leader, still has a chance to make a comeback and add another major title to his resume. As the saying goes, “no lead is safe at Augusta,” and Scheffler will need to stay focused and determined to secure the win on Sunday.

The pressure is on for Scheffler as he enters the final round of the Masters Tournament with a chance to win his second green jacket. With his wife’s due date approaching and the competition heating up, Scheffler will need to stay calm and focused to navigate the challenging Augusta National course. The golf world will be watching eagerly to see if Scheffler can hold off the competition and emerge victorious in what promises to be an exciting conclusion to the 88th Masters Tournament.
