Accuser alleges Chris Brown raped her on yacht near Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Miami home

A woman identified as Jane Doe, who previously accused R&B singer Chris Brown of drugging and raping her, is resurfacing her allegations in a new Investigation Discovery documentary titled “Chris Brown: A History of Violence.” She claims that Brown assaulted her at a yacht party outside of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Miami mansion in December 2020. In a preview for the documentary, she mentions seeing Diddy on the yacht but describes him as “really nice,” indicating he was not involved in any alleged sexual misconduct.

Despite claims that Diddy was on the yacht during the incident, a source close to Combs has stated that the allegations against Brown do not involve him and have not alleged any wrongdoing on his part. The ownership of the yacht has not been confirmed, with conflicting reports about whether Combs owned the yacht or had it chartered. Doe’s attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd has stated that she dropped a previous client who accused Combs due to a breakdown in the attorney-client relationship.

Doe maintains her honesty in the documentary, stating that she wanted to shed light on what really happened with Brown. She recalls meeting Brown on the boat and him giving her alcohol that made her feel tired and heavy. She then alleges that Brown took her to a bedroom on the boat and proceeded to assault her despite her protests. Doe continued to speak to Brown after the incident in an attempt to get more clarity but later realized the gravity of the situation through therapy.

Brown denied any wrongdoing when the lawsuit was first filed and leaked text messages from Doe in an effort to clear his name. Doe’s former attorneys dropped her as a client after receiving new information from the Miami Beach Police Department. However, Mitchell-Kidd decided to represent her again, expressing belief in her claims and regret over not making her feel comfortable enough to be forthcoming earlier. Doe’s initial lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice due to lack of representation, and it is unclear if Mitchell-Kidd plans to re-file the lawsuit.

The documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence” is set to premiere on Investigation Discovery, aiming to bring attention to the allegations against Brown and the impact of sexual assault. The ongoing legal battle between Doe and Brown continues to unfold, with uncertainties surrounding the future of the case. Brown’s lawyers have not yet responded to requests for comment, and it remains to be seen how the situation will develop further as more details come to light. For those affected by similar issues, there are resources available such as the Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-330-0226.
