A group of 179 pilgrims from Adıyaman set off on a journey to the holy land with an Umrah organization organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. A program was held at Adıyaman Airport to send off the pilgrims, which began with the recitation of the Quran.
During the program, the Center Mufti of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, Mehmet Taştan, spoke and urged the participants to pray for the Muslims in Gaza and East Turkestan during their sacred journey. He emphasized the importance of remembering those who are suffering and facing difficulties in different parts of the world.
Following the recitation of hymns and prayers by religious officials, the Umrah pilgrims were bid farewell with chants of salavat and tekbir. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of spirituality and community as the pilgrims prepared to embark on their journey to the holy lands.
The journey to perform Umrah holds a special significance in Islam, as it is a time for reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal. It is a time for Muslims to strengthen their faith and connect with their beliefs on a deeper level.
The pilgrimage is a physical and spiritual journey that requires dedication, devotion, and humility from the participants. It is a time for inner reflection and seeking forgiveness, as well as a time to show solidarity with those who are less fortunate.
As the pilgrims set off on their journey, they carry with them the hopes and prayers of their community. It is a time of introspection and connection with one’s faith, as well as a time to seek blessings and guidance from the divine.
