Student radicals funded by George Soros are inciting a surge of anti-Israel protests across the nation.

George Soros and his supporters are alleged to be funding and encouraging radical anti-Israel protests at colleges across the country. These protests began when students at Columbia University’s Morningside campus took over the lawn and have since spread to other universities such as Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, Ohio State University, and Emory. Branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) have organized these protests, with some even resulting in clashes with police.

The USCPR, which receives funding from Soros’ Open Society Foundations and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, provides financial support to community-based and campus-based fellows to organize campaigns led by Palestinian organizations. These fellows, trained to rise up and revolutionize, have been major figures in the nationwide protest movement. One such fellow, Nidaa Lafi, a former president of the University of Texas Students for Justice in Palestine, was seen speaking at a protest at UT Dallas. Another fellow, Craig Birckhead-Morton, was arrested at Yale for trespassing during a sit-in organized by Yalies4Palestine.

Malak Afaneh, a USCPR fellow and co-president of Berkeley Law Students for Justice in Palestine, has been a prominent figure at anti-Israel protests on the Berkeley campus. The Columbia protests, which sparked nationwide demonstrations, saw three groups set up a tent city on the university’s lawn: SJP, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Within Our Lifetime. These groups received funding from Soros-linked organizations, as well as from Felice Gelman, a retired investment banker dedicated to pro-Palestinian causes.

Soros’ contributions to Columbia protests, made through a network of non-profits, have helped fund these demonstrations. Groups receiving funds from Soros, like A Jewish Voice for Peace, have been involved in the protests, with accusations of threatening rhetoric and intimidation against Israel. In turn, Soros has donated to other non-profits like WESPAC, which funds anti-Israeli groups such as Within Our Lifetime and Students for Justice in Palestine. Gelman, a major funder of these groups, has connections to several progressive organizations.

Gelman, a supporter of Palestinian causes, has also been involved with the Westchester People’s Action Coalition Foundation, a non-profit that funds anti-Israeli groups. WESPAC, where Gelman was previously involved, has donated to Within Our Lifetime, founded by protester Nerdeen Kiswani. This group, along with others funded by Gelman and Soros, has been active in advocating for Palestinian human rights and against Israeli policies. However, these groups have not responded to requests for comment on their involvement in the protests.

The complex web of funding from Soros and his associates to radical anti-Israel groups through various non-profits has fueled protests and demonstrations at colleges across the country. The involvement of paid radicals and groups like the USCPR has raised questions about the true motives behind these protests and the influence of external funding sources. The impact of these protests on campus dynamics and the larger political discourse surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict remains a subject of debate and concern among students, faculty, and the broader community.
