In the 1980s, pop star Tiffany achieved international stardom with her cover of Tommy James and the Shondells’ “I Think We’re Alone Now,” knocking Michael Jackson’s song “Bad” off the No. 1 spot in the Billboard charts. Two weeks later, she had a memorable encounter with Jackson at his concert in L.A., where he was described as lovely. Tiffany’s debut album also included hit singles like “Could’ve Been” and “I Saw Him Standing There.” In 2019, she released a re-recorded version of “I Think We’re Alone Now” along with a music video shot in a shopping mall reminiscent of her 1987 nationwide mall tour.

Aside from Michael Jackson, Tiffany also expressed her admiration for other music greats like Eddie Van Halen and Stevie Nicks. She shared her love of gardening and nature, as well as her talent for hand-painting jackets for the Children’s Miracle Network charity. Tiffany also revealed her secret talent for cooking and her favorite comfort food, mashed potatoes. She spoke about her interest in Greek mythology and wanting to visit Greece, as well as her fondness for vintage purses and jewelry.

Tiffany reminisced about her first car, a Saab convertible she bought in Sweden and had delivered to Orange County. She also mentioned being starstruck by meeting Michael Jackson and having a fan throw underwear at her on stage, describing it as a gross experience. Tiffany opened up about her involvement in her career on the management side, her favorite book being “Herbal Remedies,” and her favorite workout being yoga. She also enjoys cooking spaghetti Bolognese after coming off the road and revealed her go-to karaoke song is “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman.

Despite her success, Tiffany shared that working at Pier 1 Imports was her first job away from the music industry, which she took while her son was in school in Tennessee. She loves being in the stockroom where nobody knew who she was. Tiffany expressed her love for her leather jacket and recalled that people in the ’80s thought she looked like Molly Ringwald due to her red hair. She also mentioned her favorite room being the kitchen, where she works on recipes for her cooking club, Let’s Food With Tiffany, in honor of the memories she shared with her grandmother in the kitchen.

Tiffany mentioned her favorite show being Very Scary People, hosted by Donnie Wahlberg, and her go-to comfort food being mashed potatoes – a dish her grandmother used to make for her when she was sad or unwell. She expressed her admiration for Stevie Nicks, whom she considers a role model, and shared her favorite cocktail, a mimosa. Tiffany reflected on a moment when she felt she had “made it” as a singer while driving in her hometown and hearing her song on the radio.Overall, Tiffany’s 25 things reveal her diverse interests, talents, and experiences both in and out of the music industry.
