The Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway in the Xfinity Series came down to a dramatic final lap between Sam Mayer and Ryan Sieg. Mayer made a last-lap pass of Sieg, ultimately winning the race by just 0.002 seconds. Mayer expressed amazement at the victory, noting that he had been significantly behind at one point during the race but managed to make up the time and secure the win. Sieg had surged from 10th to first place in four laps before the final caution flag, but ultimately fell just short of victory.

Sieg was leading heading into the final lap of the race when Mayer caught up to him, setting the stage for a thrilling finish. Sieg attempted to hold off Mayer but was unable to do so, with Mayer ultimately crossing the finish line first. Despite his disappointment at missing out on the win, Sieg acknowledged the effort he had put in to try and secure the victory, noting that he had been changing lines and trying everything possible to maintain his lead. Justin Allageir finished in third place, with other drivers such as A.J. Allmendinger, Cole Custer, and Austin Hill rounding out the top 10.

Following the race, Mayer moved up to 14th in the standings while Sieg moved up to 11th. The race was a thrilling and intense competition, with both Mayer and Sieg fighting hard for the win. Each driver gave their all in the final moments of the race, with Mayer ultimately coming out on top in a photo finish. The Associated Press provided additional context and coverage of the event, highlighting the excitement and drama that unfolded at Texas Motor Speedway.
