She shared details about their planned trip, including flying into Rome, spending time in Tuscany, and heading to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. This would have been Theresa’s third visit to Italy, as she had previously been when she was 18 and to visit her daughter who studied abroad there. Despite the anticipation and excitement, the couple’s marriage ended after only three months, leading to the cancellation of their honeymoon.
Gerry, 72, had proposed to Theresa during the Golden Bachelor season finale in November 2023, and they got married in a live TV special earlier in the year. However, after assessing their situation and discussing their living arrangements, they mutually decided to dissolve their marriage.
