Dusty Farr, a father from Smithville, Missouri, was initially a self-proclaimed bigot before his transgender daughter came out to him. She is currently in counseling, undergoing hormone replacement therapy, and considering alternative education options.
The experience has motivated Farr to advocate for his daughter and other transgender individuals who face discrimination and harassment in schools. Despite the challenges he and his family have faced, Farr is determined to be his daughter’s voice and fight for her rights.
