Stefon Diggs Criticizes Bills Mafia on Social Media After Being Traded to Texans

Stefon Diggs, a wide receiver who was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans, expressed his happiness to be out of Buffalo through social media posts. Diggs had previously used social media to express his dissatisfaction with his situation in Buffalo during past offseasons, but the Bills were able to work things out each time. However, this offseason, he was finally traded to the Texans, leading him to write a heartfelt message thanking the city of Buffalo for welcoming him with open arms and creating special memories during his time there. Despite his appreciation for the city and organization, Diggs seemed content with the change.

Following the trade, Diggs had some intriguing social media activity that suggested he was satisfied to be out of Buffalo. He posted a cryptic message on Instagram with the caption “Rip Tae,” prompting comments from fans criticizing him for leaving Buffalo. Despite the backlash, Diggs appeared to support and engage with comments that highlighted the bitterness of some Bills fans. This interaction further hinted at his positive outlook on moving to a new team and starting fresh in Houston after spending four successful years in Buffalo.

During his time with the Bills, Diggs excelled on the field, earning Pro Bowl honors each season and being named an All-Pro in 2020 after leading the league in receptions and receiving yards. He played a total of 60 games with the Bills, accumulating impressive stats including 445 catches for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdowns. Diggs’ performance with the Bills solidified his status as one of the top receivers in the league, leading to his trade to the Texans, where he will join the team as they rebuild and prepare for the upcoming season.

In Houston, Diggs will have the opportunity to work with quarterback C.J. Stroud, the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, and wear his college jersey number as he begins a new chapter in his career. With the departure of Diggs and fellow receiver Gabe Davis, who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Bills are left with a depleted receiving corps. The current roster includes players like Khalil Shakir, Mack Hollins, K.J. Hamler, Tyrell Shavers, and Justin Shorter, who have a combined total of 222 catches for 3,083 yards and 16 touchdowns in their careers. The Bills will need to address their receiver room in order to fill the void left by Diggs’ departure.

Overall, Diggs’ trade from the Bills to the Texans marks a significant change for both teams and the player himself. While he expressed gratitude for his time in Buffalo, Diggs appears eager for the opportunity to start fresh in Houston and work towards achieving new goals with his new team. As he transitions to a new environment, Diggs will bring his talent and experience to the Texans, while the Bills will need to regroup and strategize for the upcoming season to compensate for the loss of their star receiver.
