Reed’s family members, who remember him as a talented high school basketball player with aspirations of becoming a sports broadcaster, are emotionally distraught and devastated by his death. The family’s attorney, Andrew Stroth, emphasized the need for swift action to ensure that similar incidents do not happen in the future.
