This four-part drama, based on true events, shed light on how subpostmasters were wrongly accused of theft and fraud due to a faulty computer system. The impactful series resulted in a new law being introduced to overturn the convictions of these subpostmasters. The drama’s impact was also acknowledged by Helen Daly, associate editor of RadioTimes.com, who praised the production team for giving voice to subpostmasters who were previously unheard. This marked the first time an ensemble cast claimed the top spot on the power list, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the entertainment landscape over the past year. Runner-up on the list was Kieran Culkin for his role in HBO’s Succession.
