Agasthya Upadhya is the new CEO of Logixboard, a Seattle startup that sells software to freight forwarding companies.
Upadhya was previously chief product officer for the company, where he started in 2019. Logixboard co-founder Julian Alvarez is vacating the CEO position and will serve as chairman of the board.
In a post on LinkedIn on Tuesday, Upadhya called the promotion “an incredible honor” and said the company is “more focused than ever on innovation” as it relates to the supply chain.
“In the coming months you’re also going to see some exciting new AI products that will redefine how you manage relationships with your customers,” Upadhya wrote. “We already have a handful of early beta partners.”
Logixboard raised $32 million in January 2022 and $13 million in April 2021.
Upadhya previously spent close to seven years at social media analytics company Simply Measured as head of product and more than three at Microsoft as a market analyst and search account manager.
Other key personnel changes across the Pacific Northwest tech industry:
— Angelique Okeke has been promoted to executive vice president and general counsel at Seattle-based networking and security giant F5. Okeke, who joined the company in April 2024, succeeds Scot Rogers, who is departing after 20 years with F5. Okeke previously spent eight years in senior leadership roles at Nike.
— Beth Birnbaum is the new COO at Mudstack, a digital asset management platform for game studios and digital art teams. Birnbaum is an Expedia and Grubhub veteran who has served as a board director for a variety of companies.
— Kenny Wyatt will be the new CEO of Pushpay, the Redmond, Wash.-based company that provides digital tools for faith-based and nonprofit organizations. He replaces Molly Matthews, who is transitioning into a new role as senior advisor to the board after four years as CEO.

— Mike Pongon, Kevin Mackey, and Chris Ruhe are the co-founders and managing directors of Built for Leaders, a new AI-native advisory and consulting firm. The three consulting industry executive veterans said in a news release that B4L promises to “disrupt the traditional consulting model” with AI-powered tools that can greatly accelerate insights. The co-founders previously held leadership roles at Seattle-based consulting firm PointB, and Mackey spent eight years at Microsoft.
— Jamie Boyd is leaving his role as managing director of Cascadia after 21 years at the investment bank to help launch Cypress Capital Group, a new merchant banking firm. Boyd said he will continue to serve as a senior advisor at Cascadia.
In a post on LinkedIn, Boyd said he founded Cypress alongside partners Brian Bogen and Alexander G. Smith to bring together “deep expertise in private investments, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising to help businesses achieve their full potential.”
— Erin Papworth has been named CEO of luupo, Inc., a subsidiary of The Fintex Group, which acquired Papworth’s fin-tech startup Nav.it. Papworth previously founded MedTravel, a medical tourism company, and international development consulting company Avery Franklin Consulting.
— David Kenney joined Project Equity as manager of the nonprofit’s Employee Ownership Catalyst Fund, which provides capital for small businesses to support their transition to employee ownership. Kenney previously founded and led VertueLab, which supports early stage clean tech startups.
