Love is in the air.

A globetrotting couple exchanged vows mid-flight — taking their love to new heights this Valentine’s Day.

Alexander Valur and his fianceé Kita held the ceremony at 30,000 feet, traveling aboard a budget airline from Valur’s home country of Iceland to Kita’s home country, France.

“During these two years, we have traveled a lot together, both to France and other countries, as well as within Iceland. We love traveling,” the groom said in a statement shared with The Post by PLAY, the airline that orchestrated and publicized the stunt.

“When we heard about the idea that it was possible to get married on board … we thought, why not? It just fit perfectly with all of our adventures—to get married in the skies between Iceland and France.”

“Plus, it’s a pretty crazy and unconventional idea, which suits us well,” he added.

The groom wore a velvet maroon suit jacket and black pants and the bride a green silk tank top and black slacks — boarding the plane as fianceés for the last time this morning.

Kita walked down the aisle to meet Alexander and a priest at the front of the plane as the 200-something passengers looked on.

They tied the knot and then celebrated with their fellow travelers turned witnesses as champagne and sweet treats were passed around by the flight attendants.

“The ceremony was incredibly beautiful and really fun, and it was just amazing. Now, we’re going to enjoy ourselves in Paris,” the newly married man shared.

The newlyweds plan to spend their Valentine’s Day and the next few days in the City of Love, celebrating theirs.

The couple’s journey began thanks to their shared passion for travel. Kita was visiting Iceland on a work trip when she first became enchanted by Iceland and Alexander, a tour guide.

The pair kept in touch and when Kita returned sometime later, Alexander excitedly asked her out on a date.

“We clicked right away and connected instantly,” Alexander remembered. “We’ve been together ever since.”

Earlier, a pilot proposed to his girlfriend mid-flight several weeks ago as the plane cruised at 30,000 feet — in a public display that had hearts soaring.

A passenger recorded the sweet moment the unnamed Aeromexico captain declared his love for his girlfriend, who was seated in first class, over the speaker.

When the pilot was finally face to face with his girlfriend he got down on one knee and asked: “Will you marry me?”

Basurto excitedly said “Yes” as tears streamed down her face. The newly engaged couple hugged and kissed as onlookers recorded the emotional moment and cheered the two on.

The pilot then returned back to flying the plane and Basurto settled into her seat with a ring on her finger.
