rewrite this title Exclusive | Andy Cohen sheds $2M off the asking price for his fabulously colorful NYC home

Bravo honcho Andy Cohen’s West Village sanctuary has just taken a $2 million price cut.

The fabulously kaleidoscopic assemblage, which took Cohen 21 years to put together, is now asking $12 million — down from its $14 million ask last September. The TV host and producer’s pad had previously received its own close-up on the cover of Elle Decor, which revealed a gut-renovated palace with lots of wood, a windowed office and den, and lovely bursts of color.

There’s deep lacquered blue in the chef’s kitchen, and blues and greens from the living room to the primary bedroom.

All in, the 3,500-square-foot corner co-op boasts four bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms over two floors.

The interiors are by designer Eric Hughes and architect Gordon Kahn. Cohen is not only a fixture on Bravo — but also in his West Village neighborhood, where he is often spotted with Sarah Jessica Parker.

Design details inside the prewar home include 25 windows, two fireplaces, lots of closet space and stellar skyline views overlooking Jackson Square Park. There’s also a custom-designed glass, walnut-and-steel staircase — as well as wide-plank oak floors and a wall of lacquered closets on both floors.

An open living/dining room features a woodburning fireplace with a marble mantel, beamed ceilings, built-in cabinets — plus a gold-tiled windowed bar with a sink, an icemaker and a fridge to make entertaining a breeze.

The main floor also has a windowed chef’s kitchen that leads to a family room/den with window walls. Both the kitchen and family room are wallpapered with a “flowered photomural,” according to the listing.

A private wing leads to a bedroom suite that could be a children’s playroom, an office or a guest suite.

Upstairs, there’s also a windowed office with an ensuite marble bath and a wall of custom-designed bookshelves. The main bedroom suite features a woodburning fireplace, a window wall with views of the Empire State and Chrysler buildings, and a windowed, walk-in closet/dressing room with custom millwork.

The listing brokers are Ryan Serhant and Donna Strugatz of Serhant.

Cohen loves the Village so much, he didn’t go far. He moved into another family-style penthouse, for $18.2 million, on West 12th Street, that’s a perfect fit for him and his two children, Ben and Lucy.

That unit comes with its own solarium, multiple private terraces — and plenty of room for the kids to grow.
