For the third straight year, the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation is giving $10 million to support arts and culture in Washington state.
In partnership with ArtsFund, a Seattle-based nonprofit that supports the arts through leadership, advocacy, and grant making, the 2025 Community Accelerator Grant program will again seek applicants across Washington that can use unrestricted funding for a variety of needs.
Since 2023, the program has delivered $20 million to more than 900 organizations across 38 counties in Washington.
“In the last two years of this program, organizations have demonstrated how flexible funding can accelerate their stability and growth,” said Lara Littlefield, the Allen Foundation’s executive director for partnerships and programs. “Not only does the Community Accelerator Grant help reinforce needed infrastructure in the arts and culture sector across the state, but everyone benefits as a result, from the programs, performances, and dialogues generated through these experiences.”
The process will again utilize a Community Advisory Panel, which will inform the application, outreach, and awardee slate. Further details about the application process, the advisory panel, and criteria will be shared here.
