Patrick Mahomes may not be done growing his brood.
The Kansas City Chiefs player admitted that while he’s “good with three [kids] for right now,” he isn’t shutting the door on more children with wife Brittany Mahomes “down the line.”
The athlete, 29, said during a press conference Tuesday that baby No. 4 is “maybe” an option.
“My goal was always three. So we’ve had three,” the quarterback said of daughter Sterling, 3, son Bronze, 2, and newborn daughter Golden.
“We’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on,” Patrick continued.
The Super Bowl champion went on to gush about how much “fun” he has had transitioning from a family of four to five after Golden’s arrival on Sunday.
“It’s cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how our kids react to her,” he said. “Having baby sissy and stuff like that.”
Patrick acknowledged that Brittany, also 29, is the one “doing everything” while he tries “to be supportive.”
The high school sweethearts announced in a July 2024 Instagram post that they were expanding their family with another baby girl.
At the time, Patrick declared that his third child would be his last.
“I’m done,” the NFL star said during a press conference over the summer. “I’ll say that. I said three, and I’m done.”
He added that the goal was “always … to have kids young.”
Patrick said, “We’re having our third kid now to join our family, and Brittany does a great job of doing that, and we still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things.”
The couple have been married since March 2022.
Following Brittany’s Instagram announcement, bestie Taylor Swift subtly reacted by “liking” the post.
